Our 90-day bridge program
Discover how Help 1 Ministries guides mothers and children towards stability and reunification through our comprehensive 90-day program. Learn about our steps, who we help, and the lasting impact we create.
How our 90-day bridge program works
Mothers seeking assistance begin by completing an intake application and meeting with our team to discuss their current situation, immediate needs, housing barriers, and reunification goals. Our team carefully reviews each applicant’s situation to determine eligibility and identify the support services needed to help the family transition toward stability and permanent housing.
Initial contact and intake
Mothers complete an intake application and meet with our team to discuss their situation, needs, housing barriers, and reunification goals.
Assessment and program review
Our team reviews each applicant's situation to determine eligibility and identify necessary support services for family transition.
Personalized stability plan
Each participant creates an action plan focusing on housing, employment, family reunification, community resources, and long-term self-sufficiency.
Who benefits from our program?
Help 1 Ministries primarily serves mothers and children experiencing housing instability, family crisis situations, or barriers that place them at risk of homelessness or family separation. Many of the families we support are working toward rebuilding stability after experiencing difficult life circumstances and simply need short-term assistance, guidance, and encouragement to move forward.
Families facing unique challenges
Families entering our program may be facing challenges such as housing instability or risk of homelessness, financial hardship, family separation or reunification needs, domestic crisis situations, limited support systems, difficulty securing permanent housing, language barriers, transportation challenges, and emotional and family stress during times of transition. Our faith-based bilingual approach allows us to provide compassionate support and practical resources while helping families work toward long-term stability, independence, and hope for the future.
Expected program outcomes
After completing the Help 1 Ministries 90-Day Bridge Program, mothers and their children can expect increased stability, stronger support systems, and a renewed foundation for long-term success. Our goal is to help families transition from crisis into safe, permanent housing while equipping them with the resources, guidance, and encouragement needed to move forward with confidence and independence. Positive outcomes may include safe and stable permanent housing, successful family reunification, increased financial and housing stability, greater self-confidence and independence, improved emotional and family well-being, access to community resources and support networks, stronger life skills and future planning, and a renewed sense of hope and direction. At Help 1 Ministries, we believe stable housing and compassionate support can create lasting change for generations to come.
What makes our program unique?
At Help 1 Ministries, we understand that families need more than temporary financial assistance — they need encouragement, guidance, compassion, and a support system that helps them rebuild with dignity and hope. What makes our program unique is our faith-based bilingual approach and our commitment to walking alongside families during one of the most difficult transitions of their lives.
Beyond financial assistance
In addition to bridge support and housing assistance, we focus on building trusting and supportive relationships, providing compassionate one-on-one guidance, supporting family reunification and stability, connecting families with community resources, offering bilingual support for English and Spanish-speaking families, encouraging long-term independence rather than temporary relief alone, and creating a safe and judgment-free environment rooted in compassion and hope. We believe stable housing is only one part of rebuilding a family’s future. Our goal is to help.
