Our mission: Restoring families, building futures
Help 1 Ministries is dedicated to restoring families by providing the only bilingual, faith-centered transitional home in Tennessee specifically designed for reunification. We empower English and Spanish-speaking mothers to overcome language barriers and housing instability through culturally competent mentorship, spiritual guidance, and professional vocational training. By bridging the gap between separation and restoration, we provide the safe environment and specialized resources necessary for mothers to achieve financial independence and successfully bring their children home.
Bringing children home: Our focus
We specifically aim to bring children out of foster homes and child protective services. Many mothers face the immense challenge of not being able to save for the security deposit and first month's rent due to hardship and a lack of support systems. Help 1 Ministries offers the crucial boost they need to overcome these obstacles, ensuring children can return to a permanent, loving home.
The power of our 90-day bridge program
Our 90-day program is special because it empowers mothers with a clear goal: to reunite with their children faster. Upon graduation, mothers are equipped to ask the courts to allow their children to come home. During these 90 days, participants learn essential budgeting skills, attend parenting classes, and receive vital spiritual guidance, all contributing to their empowerment and readiness for reunification.
