Who is our program designed for?

The Help 1 Ministries 90-Day Bridge Program is specifically designed for mothers and children experiencing housing instability, family hardship, or crisis situations who are working toward achieving safe and stable permanent housing. Our program is intended for families who may benefit from short-term support, housing assistance, guidance, and community resources while transitioning toward long-term stability and independence. A good fit for the program may include mothers and families who are: Facing housing instability or risk of homelessness, in need of assistance securing permanent housing, working toward family reunification, transitioning from difficult or crisis situations, seeking support while rebuilding stability, experiencing financial hardship, in need of bilingual support services, motivated to work toward long-term housing and personal stability. How to apply for our program?

Families interested in the Help 1 Ministries 90-Day Bridge Program can begin the enrollment process by contacting our organization directly through our website, phone, email, or referral partners. Enrollment steps: Step 1 — Initial contact. Applicants may reach out to Help 1 Ministries to discuss their current situation, housing needs, and interest in the program. Step 2 — Intake application. Families complete an intake application that helps our team better understand their needs, goals, and current housing situation. Step 3 — Program review & assessment. Our team reviews each application to determine eligibility and assess how our program and support services may best assist the family. Step 4 — Interview & support planning. Qualified applicants may participate in a meeting or interview to discuss: Housing goals, family reunification needs, current barriers to stability, support services and available resources.

Our program is designed to help families rebuild stability in a supportive, compassionate, and faith-centered environment. What makes our program unique is that we focus not only on housing assistance, but also on restoring hope, strengthening families, and helping mothers build a stable foundation for long-term success. Through our 90-day bridge program, we provide: Assistance with security deposits and first month’s rent, support with housing stability and permanent housing placement, compassionate guidance during times of transition, bilingual support services for English and Spanish-speaking families, community resource connections, encouragement focused on family restoration and stability, personalized support tailored to each family’s needs. What should applicants prepare before applying?

To help make the enrollment process smoother, applicants are encouraged to gather any available documents and information related to their current housing situation, identification, income, and family needs. Helpful documents may include: Valid photo identification, birth certificates for children (if available), proof of income or employment, housing or eviction-related documents, lease information or housing application documents, court or reunification-related paperwork (if applicable), referral letters from agencies, churches, or caseworkers (if available), emergency contact information, documentation of current support services or assistance programs. We understand that families facing crisis situations may not always have immediate access to every document.
